Not very many people get how epic our mountains are here in Utah. I think when filmmaker Bryan Rowland decided to shoot Mount Timpanogos, he wanted to show just how epic this mountain really is. This is a great timelapse short shot with a Canon 5D Mark2. Enjoy!

Dustin Hill is usually shooting video of skaters getting rad at the local skate park, but on a dinner trip with some friends, Dustin decided to break out the video camera and play around with car lights. The result turned out to be really cool, and the song matches the video superbly. This was filmed with a Canon EOS 7D. Well played Dustin. Send us some more stuff soon!

Amangiri is one of those places that seems far too good to be true. This immaculate & modern 34-suite luxury resort in Southern Utah, is just 15 minutes away from Lake Powell. ‘Amangiri’ means peaceful mountain and I can see why. This resort features some of the most spectacular desert backdrops in the entire World. Hopefully they will invite us for a stay.

The first of its kind, hitRECord is now a legitimate production company. This is their video of Sundance.

I got so excited when I found out that one of my favorite artists of all-time, Banksy, was in Park City, painting on walls he doesn’t own. Banksy was in our neighborhood because he was premiering his new film ‘Exit Through The Gift Shop‘ at Sundance. What better way to promote your own film than to add life, humor and creativity to the walls of Park City? This guy understands guerilla marketing.

The smog this year in Salt Lake City has been pretty bad. At one point it was reported that we had the worst air in the entire nation. The thing I love about creative types is their ability to find art in anything and everything.

Travis Lovell is a great photographer out of Utah Valley. It’s interesting how so many people find Utah Lake disgusting but when they look at Travis’ photos of the lake they think it’s beautiful and ask where it was taken. We have our own pre-concieved perceptions based on what other people think, but when we experience them ourselves in our own way, it becomes beautiful.

In 1976, Indian Creek was a little-known, dried-up, ancient riverbed in southeastern Utah. But in that year the impossible became the possible: Earl Wiggins climbed Supercrack, a 300-foot vertical sandstone fracture from the ground up. Indian Creek is now considered one of the finest international climbing destinations in the world.

The stonework in this house is incredible and I am sure the new owners are going to treasure their mountain castle and play a lot of golf too!
